Compounding Effect of Ongoing SEO Work
Precision Parking
A focused 3-month SEO engagement grew the number of search terms Precision Parking ranks for 21.5x and nearly doubled form submissions from Google search — the lift held for about three months after work stopped, then began tapering off, as expected without continued investment.
A valet company invisible in search before the engagement
Precision Parking is a Bay Area valet and parking-services company serving private parties, corporate events, and commercial properties across San Jose, the Peninsula, and the South Bay. WordPress + Elementor site on Hostinger.
Before the engagement, the site ranked for essentially nothing but its own brand name — 8 search terms, an average Google ranking of page 4, and no dedicated location or service-area content to capture the many nearby cities Precision Parking actually serves.
What we built
A 3-month SEO engagement centered on new local service-area landing pages, not a generic service page.
- 17 distinct city/location pages targeting valet-services searches across the South Bay and Peninsula
- On-page and technical SEO work supporting the new content
- Pages built to target specific city and service searches (e.g. "cupertino valet parking") rather than one generic service page
- Every quote request and contact form is tracked, so we can tie rankings to real leads, not just traffic

Comparing the pre-engagement baseline to the engagement window and six months after.
The lift held for about three months, then began tapering off
Average Google rankings were strongest in the three months right after the engagement ended — page 1 in the first month, still solidly on page 1 by the third — before climbing steadily back toward pre-engagement territory in the months that followed. Clicks and search appearances have stayed roughly flat through the same stretch, so the slide hasn't shown up as a traffic drop yet, but the ranking trend is real. This is the expected shape of SEO gains without continued investment: a lift from the original work fades over a few months once the active building (new content, internal links, technical fixes) stops. It doesn't undo what the engagement proved — it's the case for re-engaging to hold the gains rather than starting over.
